When this series finishes, scriptwriter Debbie Horsfield will have covered the sixth of Winston Graham’s 12 novels, and RT is reliably informed that the current plan is to make just two more series, covering the final books and ending on series five. “Series four has already been commissioned and the fifth looks like it could be the last,” says RT’s BBC source. “All good things must come to an end.
