How much does it cost to replace a BruinCard? ›

Whether your card is worn out or lost, you can get a new BruinCard byvisiting our office. Replacement cards are $25.00 and card exchanges are $5.00 (when you turn in the most recent copy of your BruinCard). Please come prepared to take a new photo!

I've just paid the BruinCard application fee. When can I pick up my card? Processing of the application takes 7-10 business days.

The BruinCard provides numerous features to the UCLA Community varying from acting as your official university ID and debit card to your gym pass. Use your BruinCard as your official ID throughout campus in order to gain admittance to campus events and tests.

Easy Pay is a prepaid, non-interest bearing debit account linked to BruinCard. Funds in this account can be used to make purchases from any BruinCard affiliated merchant on or off campus, including laundry, vending, book stores and restaurants. The Food Only account is also a prepaid, non-interest bearing account.

Balances will remain on limited-use cards until card expiration date. Positive balances that remain on limited - use cards that have expired will revert to the University 30 days after the expiration date. 7. BruinCard account balances are non-interest bearing for cardholder.

BruinCard policies: The account balance must be at least $25.00 unless the requestor is enrolled in Bruin Direct. Cash refunds will not be issued. Credit balance will be posted to the BruinBill account, and will be issued by check or direct deposit (Bruin Direct) by the Student Accounts Office.

Getting Your BruinCard

Submit a passport quality photo with a plain white background. You'll receive a completion email 1-2 business days later stating whether your photo was approved. If your photo is rejected, you can resubmit your photo as needed.

If you would like to exchange your current card for a new one for any reason (update card, card not working, new picture, etc.) there is a $5.00 reprinting fee. You will have to retake your picture at the BruinCard Center and turn in your old card.

UCLA is a full-time institution, and it is expected that students complete their undergraduate degree requirements promptly. Normal progress toward graduation in four years is defined as the completion of 45 units per year, or 15 units per term.

Your University ID (UID) is a unique, nine-digit number, which can be located in several places including: On your UCLA ID card (BruinCard) On your time reporting applications (TRS,HBS and KRONOS) On atyourserviceonline.ucop.edu (under the Employment Verification Tab)
